Tam Cowan Aboard The Ship

Usually known for his humorous football analysis, even managing to get his own show on the telly a while back, Tam Cowan came to The Ship on behalf of the Daily Record.

He had many kind words for our seafood and champagne selection and we’d like to thank him for his kind words of praise.

Britain’s Best Foodie Street

The Ship has been selected in Google’s Street View – 2010 Best Street Awards.

The Ship on the Shore was runner-up in the ‘Best Foodie Street’ category, in competition with various other streets in the UK. Voting was carried out by a specialist Panel, comprising of VisitBritain and various professionals in the food industry.

We’d like to say congratulations to everyone else on The Shore and hope we can all make improvements and perhaps take it to the next stage and win the award in 2011.

Art Gallery @ The Ship Feb 2010

Davy MacDonald’s Champagne Series Paintings are on display in the The Ship’s Bar.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our opening night on the 2nd of February 2010 – it was a great night and we hope to see you again soon. We’ve been getting reports that our Bloody Mary Oyster Shot went down awfully well…

If you missed our opening night, why not come along and sample both the visual delights (Davy’s Paintings!) and our delicious seafood and accompanying range of Champagne. This will be a constatnly evolving gallery as pieces are sold and new ones are painted and displayed.
